The Great Kidnapping

Talk about your romantic getaway! This past weekend Ocean Delight was the scene of a kidnaping, but I don’t think the ‘victim’ was too concerned: Susan brought her husband, but didn’t tell him where they were going until they got here! And the surprise kicker for us is that Alan is an old, long lost friend, going back 20 years. So they got to enjoy a weekend away, and we got to enjoy catching up and making up for lost time. Win win! And check out our current promotion which helps you plan the perfect romantic getaway, too.

They also brought their dog, Annie, who (if you remember yesterday’s blog) made quite an impression on Murphy!

  1. Susan managed to pull off a great kidnapping & I am glad I was the kidnapee.
We had a great weekend & enjoyed our stay immensely ! Added bonus to run into a long lost friend.
Annie sends her best bark to Murphy

  2. Jerry….small world….Alan has taken many photos of Ocean Cowbuoy plus Donna and I have been friends with him for 10 years or so………thanks for posting the photos of us with the whales in trinity bay. Photographer was Leslie (Hutton) Martin who was aboard Terry Daley’s and Rosemary Buckingham’s Lady Nora this past August. We were cruising from Trinity to Pope’s Harbour when we came upon the whales….we stayed there for over an hour….. Cheers, Steve

    1. Small world indeed. Thanks again for the pictures – we’re always looking for ways to showcase how awesome the nature is out here and these do the trick for sure!
