These are some of the prettiest pictures I’ve gotten from fabulous Newfoundland photographer Bud Vincent yet. They’re taken in Keels, Newfoundland, in Bonavista Bay. Like Bud says, why wouldn’t you hang your laundry out to dry when you live in such a beautiful community as this?
As a quick reminder, we have a special three course supper at the Shag It tonight, and two seatings of an extra special turkey dinner tomorrow. This is our first holiday weekend at our new cafe, and we’re excited!
Jerry, my husband and I met your lovely daughter today at the Richmond Folk Festival when we were attending a concert by some Newfoundlanders, the Dardanelles. Excellent concert! Our daughter lives in Nova Scotia, so it is within the realm of possibilities that we may get up your way some time. We have enjoyed looking at your website—beautiful area.
