We have two sweet little additions to our menagerie – please welcome MiMi and Shadow (or as we refer to them, ‘Me Me and My Shadow’). We took these semi-wild kittens in from a neighbour who didn’t have space – and they’re slowly getting used to being around people and, in our case, our big, giant Golden Retrievers, Murphy and Friday. They’re playful and cuddly (although we’re more convinced of the latter than they are yet!), young and adapting to their new home, and quickly becoming beloved members of the Ocean Delight family. Shadow even jumped up to join in a nap the other day – hopefully a ‘shadow’ of things to come.

HEY JERRY – looks like they have long hair. Do they have tufts of fur in their ears & around their toes? If so, could be same breed as ours. We thought our cat Angel might be a Maine Coone, but her eyes were different, more almond shaped. We just recently found out she is quite an exotic breed. A Norwegian Forest Cat. They grew up with the Vikings which I thought was neat since I love Nfld & L’Anse Aux Meadows & all that! If they do, their fur is quite water resistant & are great mousers! Not so sure about Angel though – LOL!!!
Hi Gwen, we have no idea what breed they are, but it’s probably Heinz 57. Local cats from local cats from local cats ….Still cute though! Maybe there’s some Maine Coone in there. We’ll be sharing more photos soon!
Gerry……you have a very kind heart….I am really impressed by that. God Bless.
Why thank you, Sylvia! They’re hard not to love! God bless right back at you!
