It’s a tough job, but someone’s got to cuddle the baby goats! When I say ‘we deliver,’ I mean that we got to deliver the cutest ‘package’ to The Doctor’s House this weekend.
Due to very unfortunate circumstances, a little family of four-leggeds in Heart’s Content found themselves in need of a new home. Never in a million years, when my business used to keep me in a suit and tie, did I think part of my job description would involve carrying baby sheep and goats from one barn to another. It’s a blessing.
So, this weekend’s special delivery was Mama Goat, Mel, her babies Jack and Jill, Mama Sheep, Nan, and her little lamb. You’ll notice that that little lamb is nameless – stay tuned, as we’ll be having a contest to name her!
So far, our newly extended family is getting along great. You can find more pictures on Facebook, and expect lots of barn blogging in the days ahead!
