Tuesdays with Murphy: Happy New Year!
Happy New Year from all of us at Ocean Delight, two-leggeds and four-leggeds alike! Here’s Friday, all decked out and ready to party. We’re very excited, of course, as tonight we’ll be hosting our very first New Year’s Eve Special at The Doctor’s House. With a team like ours, and a little direction from me and Friday, I think we’ll do great! Stay tuned to Facebook, as we’ll let you know how it goes there.
Joe’s Bar
Joe brings a lot to the table, so to speak, in his many duties. For example, he was an exceptional bartender for many years before coming to the Wonderful World of Whiteway. So we’ve set up this beautiful bar in our dining room at The Doctor’s House. Now you can sip Joe Friday’s creations by the fire – how sweet is that? And don’t forget, we’ve got a great New Year’s planned, complete with gourmet dining, live music and fireworks at midnight – we hope you’ll join us – and Joe!
Getting Ready
Christmas was joyful this year, but now that it’s behind us, our focus in on New Year’s Eve. We’re making sure we have everything in line for the experience we’re offering at The Doctor’s House. It’s our first time celebrating New Year’s there, and we’re doing it right, with fine dining by the fire compliments of our fantastic Chef Anna Dohey, live music from local kind of country singer and guitarist Charlie Crocker, and champagne, noisemakers and fireworks at midnight. It should be a really fun, memorable night – so we’re doing the prep work now to make sure it all goes well.

Strawberry Santas
I’m not a huge sweets person, but these little Santas, created by our fabulous chef at The Doctor’s House, Chef Anna Dohey, were really terrific. And so cute, too. She’s planning Strawberry Pavlovas with Grand Marnier Cream for our New Year’s Eve dinner – I can’t wait to try them.
