I got a new phone a few weeks ago. It has a fantastic camera. I don’t know if I’m using it to it’s full potential yet, but I’m trying. And the sun setting over Shag Rock on a winter’s day? Hard to mess up!
Budding Saturday: Winter Corner
A wintery scene for a wintery day. Not doubt it’s been a rough winter. Thankfully, brilliant Newfoundland photographers like Bud Vincent can remind us there’s beauty all around us.
Budding Saturday: I Walk Alone
Another Saturday, another beautiful from Newfoundland photographer Bud Vincent. This shot looks appropriately chilly for the season.
This weekend we are in Clarenville for ‘Eat the Hills’ in Clarenville. We are representing the Legendary Coasts of Eastern Newfoundland and Labrador Destination Management Organization (I’m the Vice Chair). The Berry and I plan to have fun, illuminating weekend – I’ll keep you posted!
Sunset Sunday: Before and After
These pictures are like life: all the same, all different, all wonderful, and totally beautiful. Shag Rock, before, during and after a sunset – reminding us why we love the Wonderful World of Whiteway.
Thanks to guests, Shag It artist and friend Leonard Howlett for the gorgeous shots. What an eye, or should I say three?
Tuesdays with Murphy: Santa Claus Parade
Friday and I had a lot of fun this past weekend taking Jerry and The Berry to see the Santa Claus parade in the Wonderful World of Whiteway. Of course, it was easy to take them, given that the parade swung right by our cottages. As always, there was lots of community spirit and some great floats. Including a fantastic Santa at the end. If you’d like to see some more pictures, please see our Facebook page (which is also a good place to learn about upcoming events and specials, too).
