Nothing like the Wonderful World of Whiteway – and Cavendish! – for a fun day for the family. This past weekend was the Santa Claus parade, and as usual it was great. Tuesdays with Murphy: Santa Claus Parade
Friday and I had a lot of fun this past weekend taking Jerry and The Berry to see the Santa Claus parade in the Wonderful World of Whiteway. Of course, it was easy to take them, given that the parade swung right by our cottages. As always, there was lots of community spirit and some great floats. Including a fantastic Santa at the end. Santa’s a Bayman!
Look closely at the float above, and you’ll see – Santa is a bayman! No wonder he’s so jolly! As you can see, we recently had the 45th Cavendish-Whiteway Santa Clause Parade. I was surprised by the level of participation (although I’ve lived here long enough to know that Whiteway is rarely not surprising). And to top it off, afterwards everyone headed to the Fire Hall for a free lunch – how is that for community spirit? I think Ocean Delight might have to enter a float next year!
